I have been getting the project bug. You know, the one where you find something old make it new, paint, sew, create?? Can you already start nesting when you are only 13 weeks pregnant? I just want my house organized and orderly before 'peanut' comes. I have a bad habit of starting a project and not finishing but my new years resolution is to quit that habit. I tend to start in one room in my house and when I get burnt out on that room I move on to the next leaving the last room ALL MOST done. This is why EVERY room in my house is ALL MOST done. I am determined to change... I decided to finish the girls room. Okay, START the girls room. They had white walls and I started with that. After the bubble gum pink went up, my mind started racing. Anna and I went shopping for some material for a quilt. I told her to keep quite about the material until I at least start the quilt. When Jared was at work I started cutting and piecing the fabric together. Trying to hide the evidence in a black bag when he got home. A few days later Emmy (of course) spilled the beans as to what I was doing. You see, Jared has a dislike... nay a hatred toward zebra print.
He thinks its tacky and white trash. - I tell him I am part white trash considering most of our furniture I have pulled out of bulk trash and redone. Seen here... -
I decided to go against my hubby because Anna really liked the fabric in the store. So I have finally finished both of their quilts. I painted the dresser with the help of Emmy and friends!
Painted the shelves, hung decor, Jared hung the curtain rods,
and I am just making the finishing touches.
I am in the process of painting Anna's name for above her bed, making curtains, and putting shelves in their closet then I am DONE!! Done with an entire room. My goal was before the end of Feb. have James room and the girls room COMPLETELY done. I just need to paint a hook thingy and build shelves in James room then I am done. I am on a great pace and hopefully I will have time to roam the neighborhood looking for more treasure!

TOO COOL! Alright, I am looking for a race to do...so, watch out, I plan to make reservations at Hotel Lambson :) You've been warned.
Honestly, I NEED to be bit by the same bug as you. IF i get the motivation to start a project it almost always never gets done. Unless it's plumbing or something that HAS to get done. Good job T. You know, it's only Feb. 2nd. You might be able to start another room and get it done before the end of the month!! Just don't tell J.
awesome! I didn't forget about you today, I fogot about something else that took over my day. We will do shelves...I promise! BTW you scored on bulk trash!
wow. you're freaking awesome. That room looks so cute. In general I am not the biggest fan of any animal print, but you make it look good. I didn't know you sew too... Do you make curtains?
ok so you are totally hired as my interior decorator for the new house. Are you coming to california before baby is born?
Wow, Tricia. That's quite impressive. You are amazing.
I love the bedroom and love animal print. I guess I am white trash, but I think I pretty much already knew that! You are amazing!!

Holy pink and black batman! I love zebra print too, but like your husband, Doug is not much of a fan! So I sneak it in where I can.:) Maybe you could teach me to sew? One thing I'm not crafty in. I hope your feeling better!
HOLY CUTENESS!!! I LOVE IT. You are seriously so dang talented. I envy your creativity, ability to do it, and for actually getting it done. You are amazing!
Is there anything you can't do? You have more talent in your pinkie than I have in my whole body.
Looks awesome, btw.
Love it!! Even the WT quilts rock.
Okay! That is freaking adorable! Why can't I be that awesome?
I have not seen you for a long time. I love your hair in your picture on the front page. LOVE IT!
Will you come to my house and show me how to make amazing things like that. You are brilliant and an inspiration to all!
wanna come to my house when you are done?? I love your creativity - it spills over into everything you do! I love your girls room. What I wouldn't give to have a "little" girl to decorate for!! You are amazing, Tricia. Nothing like a baby on the way to motivate you to do so many things, huh?? Good luck!!
